Angela_Bassett

Angela Evelyn Bassett was born in the United States. Her name has been praised for her film and TV work since the 1980s. The awards she has won include the two Golden Globe Awards, sixteen NAACP Image Awards as well as nominations for Academy Awards and Primetime Emmy Awards. Bassett was raised in New York New York and was raised by her aunt who lived in Winston-Salem North Carolina. Bassett, her mother and sister relocated to St. Petersburg Florida when Bassett was 5 years old. The father of the family had divorced their mother. Bassett saw James Earl Jones in John Steinbeck's Of Mice and Men play when she was at high school and decided that acting is what she would like to be doing. Yale University New Haven Connecticut gave her a bachelor's degree (1980) with a focus on African American study, and a graduate degree (1983), from the Yale School of Drama. Courtney B. Vance met her at Yale In 1997, they were married. Qualification: B.A. the Yale School of Drama conferred an M.A. in Fine Arts in African American Studies to Angela Basssett in the year 1980. The school she attended was the school following: Jordan Park elementary school, Disston Middle School for seventh graders, Azalea Middle School for 8th & 9th grades as well as Boca Ciega High School. Angela Bassett plays Ramonda as one of the principal roles in action adventure film i.e. Black Panther: Wakanda forever (2022).
